Mrs. Santa

Spencer’s 3rd and Final Wish was to:

“Help Mrs. Santa sew clothes for Santa, the 'elfs' and children that need them.”

Some children and their families stay at the Ronald McDonald House only once because their medical problem is a Spencer & Ronald one-time thing. Others, like Spencer, have medical problems that require years of treatment. Those children and their families become very much acquainted with Ronald McDonald House. While we were staying there we found out Ronald McDonald House provides a blanket to every child when they check out for the first time.

When Spencer wished to help give clothes to other children, we remembered the blankets at The Ronald McDonald House. We decided to provide hand sewn pajamas for children to take home with their blanket from Ronald McDonald House.

We also donate pajamas to safe houses for children taken out of abusive homes. Many of these children are taken to the safe house with nothing but the clothes they are wearing. The pajamas come in surgical scrub patterns and each one is a “one size fits many.” We have church groups, clubs, or individuals who would like to, sew these pajamas for us. It’s a great service project. All the materials, time and labor are donated.

FOR THOSE WHO DON’T SEW:

If you would like to purchase new pajamas, leaving them in the original package, we can use them as well. Some charities don’t allow home made pajamas to be donated so store-bought pajamas are thankfully accepted. Please pick a size for a child between the ages of 2 and 17. You can either mail the pajamas to us at:
